Summer Fruit Salad

I seldom cook. And when I do fix something its quick and easy. So I thought I'd share my quick and easy fruit salad recipe with you. Its great if you're looking for something light on a hot summer day.

Take fruit of your choice. (I usually use fresh grapes and a can of chunk pineapple.)
Drain the pineapple
Cut the grapes in half
Place your fruit in a bowl
Mix in vanilla yogurt
Then sprinkle with coconut and sliced almonds.
Quick and easy. And it's healthy and tastes yummy.

What about you? What's your quick and easy summer salad?

My fruit salad consists of Dole Tropical fruit, Mandarin Oranges, Maraschino cherries and the occasional pear.

These all come from canned or jarred fruit because they keep longer than fresh. I do eat a lot of fresh fruit but this mix is nice during winter as well as summer.

I go to the salad bar at the supermarket and put my hand on a packaged salad - it's what I call the hunter/gatherer salad
