Options

Have you ever felt trapped in a situation you didn't really want to be in ? Taking care of a crotchety relative that wasn't exactly kind to you in your youth? A relationship? A job? Picked on by a school bully?
Sometimes, we just have to suck it up and deal with it, at least temporarily. Then again maybe we just need to take a long hard look at our options. And if we don't see other choices, do our best to create them.
Maybe Aunt Rebecca can be placed in assisted living.
Maybe, you'd be better walking away from a relationship that no longer brings you joy or get counseling on how to make it work.
With the economy, the job situation can be tricky. Do you stick it out or go in a different direction? Perhaps, freelance at something you're good at. Or several somethings. Or go to a community college and get retrained in a skill you enjoy.
Or if you're a young person who is being bullied, go to your counselor, your teacher or a parent.
There are always options, we just have to find them.

That's true. There is always a option.

Well, one hopes there is an option. Most people are afraid to talk about their personal challenges, especially when they're awful.

That's true, but sometimes it takes a long time to find the options.

I say look within yourself, decide what you want and then bulldoze over anyone in your path. You get one shot at life. Take it.
