Where Am I?

Anybody else ever felt like this?
*
My news: I'm retiring from my day job in March. I've got a book due in May that I haven't started so the retirement is timely. I will miss my associates and friends, I've been at my current position nearly fourteen years. What I won't miss...the alarm clock going off at six a.m. Maybe, after I've retired, I should set it anyway just to get up and get going. Not. Any news on your end?

  1. Hi Sandra! Happy Holidays :)
Well, my life is tossed up in the air at the moment and I have no idea what my next move is going to be. It's been a very busy, emotionally exhausting year for me... and frankly I don't have the energy to forge ahead into some new unknown abyss. I just wish I could get settled in life already. *sigh* Sorry for sounding so glum!

I'm glad I've got a contract for it, but I'll be glad when I get the series complete.

  10. I hate early mornings. Sometimes I get up as early as four. While it's nice to get home earlier, it sucks to be up that early.

    1. Hi Adam, I can remember when I worked early shift. It was nice to get home early, but I was too tired to do anything.

  11. What exciting news! I think it is awesome that you will have more time for writing. I am not a fan of getting up early- so I say no alarm (well- maybe set it for a later time, so you don't get lost in your dreams and sleep the day away). :)

    1. Good plan, Jess. Although, when the alarm clock doesn't go off the critters do, so the chances of sleeping in too late or pretty slim:)
