Is It Just Me?

This was a quote from our local paper:
By John Hamlin jhamlin@statesville.com
Matt McCall says he wants to turn the Iredell County Republican Party into a high-speed, low-drag, liberal-slaying machine.
Really?  Is it just me or has politics gotten just a tad out of hand? Isn't this just another form of prejudice? What do you think?

As long as he doesn't want to turn them into drag queens.
Yeah, that's extreme. Just chill, people. How about turning them into a respectable party again? Wait, that's probably never going to happen. On either side.

Very sad. Politics has turned into a very sad state of affairs these days...

All it is is grown adults acting like two year olds with name calling.

That is a bit extreme. Politicians exhaust me! The cat looks like he's doing yoga.

What's he trying to prove? I'm with the cat, I'm turning my head like that to understand...oh boy

I mostly blame the tea party folks. A bunch of folks who way too far to the right making sure every Republican would be un-electable to be President.

Though good for the White House, not so good for the state houses, nor congress. Especially when the House of Rep. seats are gerrymandered to Republican majority.

You've got that right, CJ.

Unfortunately, it has. Very sad sums it up nicely.

Isn't that the truth.
