Just A Reminder

Inundated with telemarketing calls? Just a reminder: If you are in the U.S. you can add your name to the Do Not Call National Registrydonotcall.gov. All you have to do is add your phone number, your email address then confirm the link. Easy peasy.

And I have done that!
The Do Not Call Registry. Not sit on someone. Except my wife. Wait, did I say that out loud...?

I had our number on the do not call list. I just ignore any telemarketer calls. If I don't recognize your phone number/name on caller ID, I let the call go to voicemail. If it's important, the caller will leave a message. Telemarketers never leave a message. Now that we dumped the landline, no telemarketers on the cellphone.

CJ, Somehow my cell # got on the list and I was inundated. It wasn't pretty. Knock on wood, this seems to have taken care of the problem.

Glad to hear it, Pat:)

I remember getting all kinds of those calls in the 90s. Never get much of them anymore

We have something similar here but they still get through. Thankfully I know my rights and when one called past 9pm I told them that i would be calling the Ministry of Community Services and they hung up and still have not heard back from them

I'm glad, Adam. I normally don't. Someone got my number and shared it.

Good for you, Birgit. Glad they haven't called back.

But if I end the calls, then I can't tease the telemarketers.

Love,
