How Was Your Mother's Day?

So moms, how was your day? I trust it was wondrous.  I want to hear all about it.
I got to see the babies this weekend which is always good:) and went with their mom and the little ones to get their hair cut. The boy got his first 'boy' cut and he looks so cute. And got to see them Mother's Day. Later we hooked up with my bro, sis-in-law and her family. From there moved out to the porch recliner. All in all a good day.

The haul. Note the (adult) coloring book. Grin.

On a different front I've finished my first draft of  Love, Lattes and Angel, due out next April. YAY. After I get it cleaned up and shot off to my editor, I'm going to be working on a novella that will be part of a set put together by friend and author Julia Barrett.

First congrats on your first draft and you have a goal set so kudos to you! I love the colouring book:) I am a mom to fur babies so they gave me plenty of kisses. My hubby and I plus my brother went to visit my mom. To tell the truth, I am unsure how much longer she will be here. She could last another year or 2 or I may get a call. Her dementia is getting worse because she does not remember we visited 2 minutes after we leave. The big issue is her breathing. She needs constant oxygen and must be taken by wheelchair to the dining hall. Yesterday she went to the washroom and opened the door and could not breathe. My brother helped her to her bed and put the oxygen back on. Sorry for the downer but it just spilled forth. One must treasure every moment with our dearest and nearest

I'm so sorry, Birgit. The aging process is so hard.
We went through that with my mom.

Good you enjoyed your Mother's Day. We celebrated Mother Dragon at the Cave. There was a lot of food and drinks. Two things Dragons and Dwarves enjoy very much.

Thanks, Shannon. Now comes cleanup.
