Happy Wednesday :-)
And to you, Ivy:) You were up early.
Love it. And am always fascinated by tales from the south...
:)Glad you enjoyed it, EC.
I call people dahlink because that is how Patsy and Eddie from ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS taught me to do it :)
well hush mah mouth!
They make the tales of the south sound so enthusiastic too
LOL! Love it.
Hi Crystal, how are you?
And the moment when those stories are created starts with, "Hold my beer and watch this!"
LOL. You've heard those stories before.
Hi, Sandra! It's so true! Mrs. Shady and I recently had house guests for a week, family members who have lived in Alabama for decades. They always call people "Babe." (LOL) When we took them out to restaurants our servers were taken aback when referred to as "Babe." My brother-in-law has a habit of relentlessly teasing strangers. At one restaurant, 'Bama bro jokingly asked our server, "Where's my ashtray? I wanna smoke!" You should have seen the look on the young man's face. :)
Sounds like your family definitely has a sense of humor, Shady;)
OH My....How cutie patootie. OK I'm a Canadian so southern to me is fried chicken and what I see from the Dukes of Hazard. Although I have a funny story. My ex and I were in Germany at Neuschwanstein. We were in the throne room on a tour. The tour guide was talking about the room and that it is unfinished. There is no throne. King Ludwig, after having this castle built to how he wanted it never sat on his throne because he was arrested and taken away. There was silence amongst all of us and then this tiny, sweet voice from an older lady in a strong southern accent said .."Oh my,.....how sad". We all started to crack up because it was so sweet.
Cute:)Fried chicken and Dukes of Hazard are pretty good examples:)
Love the post!
I'm glad. How are you, Nas?
I've heard plenty of these. :)
Grin.How are you, Medeia?
