Big, big smiles. And thank you.
Grin. My pleasure, EC.
Thanks for these fine examples of L'esprit de l'escalier --a French term for "stairway wit" or thinking of the right reply only after leaving a gathering, a malady I have always suffered. But I shall memorize the 1st one because I will doubtless need it again!
I'm with you, Geo. My great responses are always made several hours after the fact when I'm alone:)Also thanks for sharing the definition of stairway wit.
You got me on the shag carpet one! Yes, back in the day when the kids were the remote control.
Ha! Parents certainly put us to use:)
Aha! I love them! :)
Good:) Have a wonderful day, Lee.
I love them all, good ones! Hugs, Valerie
Thanks, Val:) Glad you enjoyed them.Hugs
and a good morning to you also - I identify strongly with #2 (heh heh heh) and #4.
Me too on 2:) And 4 keeps me on my toes:)
Oh, I can relate to the second one far too readily :-/
I hear ya on that, Annalisa.
Shag carpet to change tv. Those were the days :-D
I can remember when the HH first wanted to get a remote and I thought it was the height of laziness. I'd be whining like crazy today if I had to get up and change the channel.
thank for your visit on my blog, you have plenty of creativit here! bravo!
Thanks, Jens! And thanks for visiting mine:)
Hi, Sandra!Good ones, all of them! Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, state-of-the-art technology was the coal-burning television. I got tired of shoveling!Happy Wacky Wednesday to you, dear friend!
Ha! And a happy Wacky Wednesday to you, Shady.
haha so glad I don't have to do that with the TV
I love the one about the TV and the shag carpet. Hysterical! And I remember those days :)
Oh yeah, me too:)
smiles you have sweet talent to make one smile and even laugh as sometime my kids ask what happened ami and my smile get deeper, have a wonderful blessed week ahead dear sandra
Thank you, Baili, and right back at ya:)Hugs
LOL at the TV one. Of course I never had to walk the 9 feet. It was my job to sit beside the TV and change the channels and volume as I was told.

Ha. You were very useful:)
I love those. Smiling.
Glad you enjoyed them, Donna;)
Ha! The first one made me laugh. I hate it when people interrupt me, especially when I'm making a point.
Number 2 is me all the way. I can't talk for the life of me, but write it down - I'm there!Love the humor!
Right with ya:)
I love that first one and should print that out for my ADHD husband:) I love the shag carpet and our shag carpet was green-3 toned. The last one made me laugh out loud
Yeah, my HH is good at that too:)
I want that first saying on a t-shirt. With a picture of Grumpy Cat, of course.
LOL! Love them all! Thanks Sandra!
Glad you enjoyed them, Magic:)Hugs
I'm going to have to try that interrupting one sometimes. I've been trying to find a way to say that all my life! I've often said something like, "Oh, I'm sorry...did my talking interrupt your interrupting?" but this sounds MUCH more powerful!
It's a pretty snarky comeback isn't it?:) Yours is good:)
Shag pile carpet - remember it well :)
First one's cocky. And I love it.
