I'm not superstitious, fingers crossed that it will be a good day!Managed to get an appt at the Doc's today because people mostly refuse them on Friday 13th - that was my luck! So, stay safe, don't walk under ladders, keep calm, and remember - shit can always happen! Hugs, Valerie
Heh heh.Haven't been under any ladders and yes, it can always happen:)GrinHugs
Have a great Friday the 13th. May all go well.Yvonne.

I'll probably be tripping over my little black cat today.
Grin. I managed to trip over both grandchildren last weekend. Go figure.
Hi, Sandra! Thanks for reminding me, dear friend, but it might be too late. I just spilled salt and broke a mirror while walking under an open ladder! :)Have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Sandra!

Nothing phases me, except the number 13. Aye yay yay.
Well, I hope it phased you in a good way yesterday, Donna:)
Another day on its way at my bay
So far, uneventful here:)
Whilst not without my superstitions, Friday 13th isn't one of them. I did however have to go under a ladder yesterday and am still awaiting the repercussions.
I trust by now it's a non issue:)
Love your sweet black cat image! Happy Friday -- and weekend, too!
And to you, Jeanie:)Hugs
Friday 13th !!!What a stupid joke of yore.No bloody black cats seen, the sun rose in thesouthern hemisphere and set at the usual time. All is well below the Equator and on the western sideof the International Date line.Colin

I fought a hail storm and high winds, and now I am safe with both cats by my side. I'm so glad this day is winding down. Have a super weekend and put Friday the 13th in the rear view mirror!
Glad you are safe at home with your kitties. I trust your evening is incident free and that you are tucked up, cozy, and enjoying your evening.
Hope your Friday was a good one. I was late to work(travelled to the satellite office) and ran into the bridge being up, 2 construction sites and the cops stopping cars when exiting the freeway....ughh. Home now and enjoying everything.
Yikes! Glad you're home safe and sound, and relaxing.
I do like all black cats. Not a superstitious person on Friday the 13th.Have a good weekend - Saturday evening down here.
Good for you, M-w, black cats are pretty popular with a lot of the blogster buds. I trust you are having/had a great weekend:) Are you about 10 hrs ahead of us? Or more?

What an adorable black cat for Friday the 13th! :)
He/she sure is:) Hope you're having a great one, Heather.
here in my country is a half work day ,being a teacher my daily duty hours are seven but on Friday there are five and this is because Friday is taken a special day for people to gather and pray before God ,hope and pray that all goes well for everyone on friday and every day to come
That's lovely sentiments, Baili. Thank you.
Nothing happened to me yesterday! :-)-Katihttp://almoststylish.blogspot.de/

My Friday passed without a ripple. Glad you had a wonderful day, Magic:)
Usually Friday the 13th is a pretty good day for me, so I don't fear it at all. TThanks for visiting Critter Alley. I am now following your blog!PatCritter Alley
Thank you, Pat! I love follows and I enjoyed critter alley. Heading back right now.
I missed all the sales for the 13th, I wasn't paying attention enough.Rain and cold finally sent me home from a week of camping.
I hope there's a week of camping in your future with great weather.
PS Always hate missing sales.
Time Aust/USAPresent time in Dallas, Tx is 8.50 pm Saturday 14th.Time here (Pacific side): It is 11.50 am Sunday 15th.The Pacific side includes Tasmania (where Margaret lives), Victoria, NSW and Qld.I guess Aussies are better with time zones World Wide asper head of Population we are the most travelled people in the World - so far away from anywhere, except really Bali (Indonesia), NZ and even Fiji is 4 hours flying time away.It is estimated at any time of the year at least 500,000Australians are overseas on holidays! From a population of 24 million that is a lot in any person's language.Trust this clarifies the time difference for you.CheersColin
This may explain it better in terms of flying - Australia/USA.Depart BNE 10.00 am Sunday - arrive LAX 6.00 am Sunday - both dates the 15th. So you gain a full day and 4 hours. Flying time is 13 hours direct.Depart LAX 11.20 pm (Qantas Fl#16) Sunday and arrive in BNE at 6.10 am Tuesday - 17th. Lose one full day.All US flights ex: LAX or SFO leave the US between 10.00 pm and midnight - those airlines are Qantas, Virgin Australia, Delta, United and American Airlines - all daily - some, two flights each by Qantas and United to Sydney and Melbourne.Flying time LAX to BNE is 13 hours 55 minutes - longer but sometimes with tail winds faster and with head winds slower.I have made 8 trans Pacific flights - back to the Boeing 707's which landed in HNL - that made a far longer flight and customs formalities were then carried out in HNL (Hawaii).Colin
Yes, thank you for taking the time to explain. Sounds like you are a seasoned traveler:) I used to enjoy flying....not anymore.
Hope you had a great Friday the 13th!
Thanks, Steph. Hope you did too.
Have a great Sunday the 15th!
I like that, Blue. From Friday the 13th to Sunday the 15th:)
