September 1

lovethispic.com
Can you believe it?  Blink once and it's going to be Halloween. Twice, Thanksgiving.  Blink three times and you better start wrapping the Christmas presents.

I'm visiting today with the lovely Yvette Callerio  at http://yvettemcalleiro.blogspot.com/2016/09/author-spotlight-sandra-cox.html

  1. I know, right? Halloween stuff is already in some stores and Christmas seems to appear as early as late September.

  2. I was at a store last week where all three holidays had craft items already out. Each had their own aisle and end cap. I'm sure Christmas items will be more and more as the other two holidays wind down.

Happy September to you, too, and let's try not to blink too hard, at least not for a few weeks!

  5. No! And I don't want to believe it....we're just over 16 hours into 1st September down this way.

I'm trying my hardest to wind back time, but it refuses to succumb to my efforts! Dammit!!

  6. It's September already?! NOOO I'M NOT READY. *flails*

And LOL, so true about how quickly the holidays will be here. I'm already seeing Christmas stuff in stores and on TV!

  7. Halloween candy was out in the stores 2 weeks before back to school stuff. My friend said she's already seen an ad for Christmas. I wish retailers would just let us enjoy one season at a time. Even though today is the first meteorlogical day of Fall, technically there are still 20 days left of Summer until the Autumnal Equinox.
