  1. Same to you Sandra.
3 of the grandchildren and their parents are travelling some distance to 'do Halloween' :)

    1. Trick or Treating is tough if you live in the country. We lived out of town when our daughter was little.
It adds a bit of challenge.

  2. Yay! I love Halloween. But I never get Trick or Treaters because I'm in a gated community and all the kids are always taken to a nearby neighborhood.

Doesn't keep me from buying candy though in case someone shows up. 8D

  3. A very happy Halloween to you.
I have bought some treats and expect one or perhaps two trick or treaters. At most. And won't be surprised to get no-one.

  4. Happy Halloween. I'm not expecting visitors, so I'll curl up on the sofa and eat the candy myself....Happy Halloween, hugs, Valerie

  5. The kitten video is just too cute.
I’ve got a big bowl of sweets and other treats now just have to wait to see who (or should that be what!) turns up.

  7. If just one of those apples had moved, that cat would've hit the ceiling.

  8. Happy Halloween! My area is rural. There are no sidewalks and no street lights except at the cross streets which could be 1/4 mile or more apart. We'd sometimes get 1 or 2 trick or treaters. Now, no one comes to the door. The fire department puts on a Halloween bash for the kids at the town common. They had their do last night though had to move into the firehouse because it rained. Apparently, it was a big turnout. The FD has decided to hold the festivities on the Sunday before Halloween.

  10. Love that cat! Whoever knew about this music, it goes perfectly with the spaz cat. I find it funny that it's not a cucumber(seen that video a lot). We get around 45kids which is way down since we used to get over 100. Tonight though, for the first time ever...I am not handing out candy because I am going to a double feature...The Shining and Freaks is playing at the Performance Art Centre and I have to see these downtown even though The Shining really freaks me out.

  20. I love it, too. We had about 50 last night -- more than the past few years(though the past two had bad weather -- but even before). Only 4 pieces of candy left over.

Which is probably a good thing...

  21. You got a good number.
We're going to have to give our neighbors our leftover candy so we don't eat it ourselves:)
