Monday Stuff

And.....We're touring....

Staci Troilo set up the Story Empire site and did an amazing job. If you have an opportunity drop by and  enter the drawings.  There's ten Amazon cards being given away.

Did you have a great weekend?  I hope so.
We hooked up with the baby boy and family and went to a pumpkin patch in Cary, NC.  Good grief, it was busy.  They even had a policeman directing traffic. The kids had a great time. I was a little nervous about leaving the dog and the kitten. They feed off each other.  The kitten instigates and the dog gets in trouble.  At least the matches were put up so they didn't burn the house down.

  1. A policeman in a pumpkin patch? Unheard of here.
I am glad that you kept the matches away from the fiendish furs. And also glad to hear that the kitten is the instigator. When we had both it was assuredly true. And butter wouldn't melt in her mouth...

  2. Sounds like a very fun weekend....even with a pumpkin cop? Glad you had fun and that your four footed mischief makers didn't wreck the house. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie

Yup, I was quite relieved when we got home and the house was still standing:)

  3. Don't think I've ever been to a pumpkin patch. (If I have, it was many years ago, LOL.) Mind-boggling how the one you went to was busy enough to warrant a policeman!

  4. I have never been to a pumpkin patch - with or without a policeman - but it sounds fun. I laughed when I read about your dog and kitten I could just picture them matches in paws .... So funny. Have a lovely day.

    1. The pumpkin patches are great for kids. They love them.
There's just no telling what the critters will get up to....
You have a great one too, Barbara.

  5. I've been on a haunted hay ride. Don't remember if it went through a pumpkin patch or not.
If the cat and dog could burn down the house with matches, then you have some talented pets.

  11. Your dog and kitten sound like Bonnie and Clyde! I'll bet the pumpkin patch was beautiful -- if crowded. It's such fun to watch kids in a pumpkin patch. I keep thinking I should grow some for next year!

  12. Today is a great Monday for me. I got to send my oldest back to school after she had a week off for fall break.

And I'm glad your house was safe and intact, at least from fire. ;) Sounds like you had a great weekend!

  20. Went to a pumpkin patch once with great nieces and nephews. What a wonderful time. Not to mention the pumpkin cookies. Pumpkins everywhere! We had our picture taken behind a wooden costume. Much fun was had by all. Off to tour the tour.
