Wink and A Nod Thursday

Today's Wink and A Nod recipient is Birgit of BB Creations. Birgit and her blog are all sorts of fun.  Her specialties: movies and beautiful, personally-created cards. If you have questions about a specific movie or genre, she can no doubt tell you all about is.  If you are a card aficionado, Birgit's are true treasurers. And if that's not enough she's a cat woman and will happily share pictures of the furr babies. If you haven't visited her before treat yourself and stop by.

  1. I watched the Cubs/Indians game, cheering for the Cubs (since our Toronto Blue Jays didn't make it. . .) Nice, very nice. They waited a long time. How nice of you to highlight Birgit's blog!

Me too! I'm not sure the HH or son could have survived the loss.

    1. Me Too! And the die hard fans all over the country. Did you see there were folks at the game from 12 countries? Amazing. Did you see Bill Murray? He's such a hoot.

  6. A tough start but those Cubs did it. I have a triple A team close with their organization and watched on their big screen

  7. I have to admit, since Cleveland is the "home team" (even though I don't live there but all my family does) I was hoping for the Indians. But the Cubs played better and it was a great game, deserving of the win. And the Curse is over. Congratulations!

    1. The Indians played a great game. I was glad for the Cubs, considering their losing streak went back further than the Indians;)

I'm not really a big fan of sports, but I understand why everyone is so excited. Congrats to the team and the fans!

  11. Nice to meet Birgit and her cat and movie stories.

I was rooting for the Cubs, but my neighbor said Cleveland was the better team. She shut up after the game last night. Glad you shared that photo. I loved the one with Bill Murray in it.
