Wink and A Nod Thursday

This week's Wink and Nod recipient is Barbara Fisher at March House Books.
Barbara posts on vintage books.  Why her interest in antiquated books? She used to be--wait for it--a bookseller. Definitely, one of our favorite occupations. She lives in the charming village of Somerset in the UK.  Best of all, she's a proud grandmother that occasionally shares lovely pictures of the grandchildren.

Wink, wink, Barbara.

So many blogs, so little time.

  8. I shall visit this blog and what a great occupation to have had. I love antique books...my grandfather, Opa, was trained to restore very old books and have his old scissors which are still sharp as ever.

  16. I'm catching up on my blog reading and strangely had gone across to Barbara's blog from Jan's ... it was seeing those postcards on her recent blog post, they are amazing.

May I just ask you who is "DMS" on a recent comment on the low carb diabetic blog (it was on the Rubbish Poem/post) you stated "about the woman from Gambia who started crocheting tossed plastic bags to improve the environment?" Have you got a link please I'd love to go and see this.

    Thanks

    All the best Jan
