The Fourth

The Fourth of July--also known as Independence Day--is when Americans celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence July 4, 1776.
Hope yours is wondrous.

Have a happy Fourth, Sandra. I will be watching for prairie fires. We get to live in a wonderful country and I celebrate by helping this bit of it from burning down. Now it's midnight and I'm sleepy --California can manage a few hours unattended.

A very happy 4th of July..........although some centuries later, was it such a good idea? The colony above you has Justin and you have Donald.

Last night, we enjoyed the fireworks in Fuquay which lasted all of 10 minutes. (lol) What I really enjoyed is that I could right out my back door to be entertained. Hope yours has been great! I just found out that while the 4th was put into effect on July 4, 1776, it wasn't actually signed until August! Useless trivia, I know. (lol)
