I was just going to remind you today is Friday the 13th, but you beat me to it. Your black cat looks perfect in the moonlight. I hope you have a frightfully good time this weekend, but don't walk under any ladders today, dear.
Have a great day and I am hoping to see a black cat, walk under a ladder and drop some salt. Funny anecdote...my dear friend’s mom had dropped some salt and he told his mom( she’s German) that she will have bad luck so she better throw some salt over her shoulder...she thre the whole shaker! Happy weekend!
Thanks for asking about "Jesse" in my latest Vietnam post. I explained his current situation after the first photo: He told me he shut down for years, and lived on the streets for awhile. He eventually got a job as a dishwasher, then worked in a laundry. He finally got a job as a machinist. He retired from his machinist's job in 2013. He has never been married, but has lived with various women.
I think he turned out better than some I have spoken with. He was also not high when I talked to him, so I don't know if he still "smokes" or not.
I went back and found that paragraph. Sorry I overlooked it the first time. Kudos, Elizabeth, for going out and getting a first hand report. I found it extremely moving.
You have a great one! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val! You too.
DeleteHugs back,

I'm using my broom! LOL! Hope you're having a great weekend Sandra! We are getting a bad rain storm with high winds! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteHope the rain and winds are over and you didn't suffer any damage.
Have to wait till morning, to see if any branches are down! Lucky no power outage!
DeleteWhew. That's a relief.
DeleteWell, yes! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
Greetings to you from NC:)
DeleteBut what if you need those brooms to get around? :P
ReplyDeleteGood point, Robert. We don't want to interfere with a witch's transpo.
Delete:)
Hope your weekend has been fab, and you didn't see any flying brooms in your travels. Cooler weather tomorrow - Yay! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteNo flying brooms here:) And the weather has cooled and feels great doesn't it?
