  1. Jackass is a lot nicer than what I call people who dump animals.
I am glad that they chose the people they swam towards well.

  2. Great to see them being rescued, but how can people be so cruel to abandon helpless kitties? Hugs, Valerie

  3. They seem quite tame and happy to be with humans, yet a human put them there, it seems. They seemed to think humans were a way out of their trouble (hunger?). Very uplifting video. Was there a third?

    1. I imagine hunger played a huge role, Andrew.
      I hope there wasn't a third.

  5. Great that they got them indeed. Now hopefully whoever stuck them there drowns, just a little bit at least.

    1. Some people can be so cruel. They look at an animal and see a disposable commodity.

  6. Beyond jackass! What person would just dump such beautiful, friendly kittens? Thank goodness those two were out fishing that day.

  9. What a horrible thing to do to such sweet little kittens! Some awful person dumped Rocko and Spunky on the highway. Good thing our neighbor started feeding them. (Which led to us feeding them and then they came in the house, never to leave.) I hope those little gingers went to a good home.

    1. Good for you, Di! Highway dumping is the worst! I trust the gingers did get a good home. I wonder if the fisherman kept them.

  10. That is so sweet. What good cats. But do you know any bad little kittens? I'm glad they found them and phooey to the person who dumped them.

  12. I cannot understand how someone could be so heartless and want to harm innocent little lives. Thankfully this man was there to rescue them 🐱🐈

  13. I hope they found a good home. I grew up in the country and so many would dump their cats. The farmers either did that or would drown them in a pond when they had too many on the farm. We never went to the Humane Society to get a cat. I remember one morning, I was out waiting for the bus and there was a deep ditch on either side of our driveway. I saw that someone dumped their garbage bag again in the ditch as it was near me. I suddenly noticed that the bag moved and I opened it up to see 6 kittens that were so tiny. I took the bag to my mom and she took care of them. We fed them and we suddenly had 6 cats.

  14. I don't understand why people dump cats. I know someplaces it's a "pest problem" (because no one is neutered) but it's so sad. I'm pretty sure the Marmelade Gypsy was dumped -- he was so tiny and no other cats found near him. I'm glad these met a better fate than the person who left them intended.
