Did you know, lawmakers haven't provided funding to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) for studying gun control violence in more than two decades even though the House and some crucial doctors' groups are in favor of it.
I say, if they want to keep thrusting the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, since this was written in 1789, then ok...they can bear arms-muskets! It is absurd that they can carry so many guns, semi automatic weapons, guns that can spray 100 bullets in, like what, 30 seconds?? They have the right to wear guns on holsters and walk into supermarkets like they are back in the 1890's? This is ridiculous
It's a huge piece of it for sure. And I think the term gun control has morphed into something that it was never meant to be. I prefer, gun commonsense.
You won't get any argument from me. My understanding is at their conception they were a stable, helpful organization that concentrated on safety, etc. How times have changed. Karl Frederick the NRA President of 1934 believed guns should be restricted and licensed.
