Tuesday

Due to COVID we hadn't seen the grands since February. When my son sent me the grand girl's softball schedule, I took  it as a hint to come in:)
Above. The boy and grand girl.
They got two new dogs. One weighs eighty-seven pounds and the other is seven months old. Throw in three kids and their household is always hopping.
The day after we got home, we picked up Callie Rose. She's a year old and had already had a litter of kittens. So far none of the critters are particularly pleased with the arrangement. Penny and Frank are in one section of the house. Callie is in another. Luckily, Faux has no opinion one way or another.
Same flowers. Different view.
The little memorial rose bush.

What about you? Have you ventured out since COVID?  How's your critters? Your garden? How are you?

Bye-bye June.

I am thrilled that you had some (long overdue) family time.
Love your garden. And Callie looks like a cat of character. I hope she and the other furs settle down quickly.
Hugs.

How wonderful that you got to spend time with your family. That must have been a real treat.

Your son and his family must love pets as much as you. How wonderful to get two new dogs during this lock down.

Enjoyed meeting Callie Rose, too. It takes awhile for new family members to bond. Believe me, I know. Squiggles still won't go near Bleubeard, so Bleubeard gave up trying to be nice to him.

To answer all your questions, I went out yesterday for the first time since March 15. I got my new driver's license, and it was set up well. Then I came home and may have done permanent damage to my left eye. Will know today after seeing a surgeon.

Love those flowers.

Lovely pictures of children, dogs and garden. I haven't ventured out for a few months due to the virus, I briefly see my son-in-law each Tuesday evening when he deliveres my shopping which I appreciate very much. I don't have a garden but have a few house plants. Our hairdressers are hopefully opening on Sat. but don't know what restriction will have to be taken. It's still risky especially after many visitors visted our beach social distancing flew out of the window.
Have a good day.
Yvonne.

Seeing the fam was great. The kids seemed happy to see us:)
On the garden, I've almost caught up with the weeds. Fighting Japanese Beetles like crazy:(

It must have been great to see the grands. I hope you got a bit closer to them than just watching them play, but not too close of course. So, a new pussy cat. We can choose our friends, but not our family and they must all become family who get along.

What's going on with your eye, Elizabeth? Congrats on getting the driver's license test in the rearview mirror. That's definitely on my hate to do list.
My kids do love animals:)
Stay safe. Be healthy.

It's always fun to peek in the lives of others and to enjoy all the greatness. The brightness of your flowers always make my day too. Hugs, RO

It was great and we probably got too close. I did try to keep my face turned away when giving and getting hugs.
Yes on the family.

Will you look at that pretty Callie Rose! She looks like a dream. The others will come along. Ah, the grands. This has been tough on grandpeople, young and old. This post makes me smile.

Love your pussy cat and the dogs look very happy. Our fur babes are doing well. Our garden looks so beautiful since I don’t touch it...hahaaa. My hubby loves gardening and one day I need to post before and after pictures. I will still wear my mask going grocery shopping but I will not go to any functions...not yet because this dreaded virus is just sleeping and will Wake once more. Looking at the States, it is fully awake.

Thanks. It sure was, Christine.

Thanks, Birgit. Would love to see your garden. Glad you're still wearing your mask. It's required here, though we have folks that ignore that.

My venturing is pretty limited. I go to Costco about once a month and stop by Winn-Dixie in between visits. If I had some grandchildren, I don't think I could stay away from them.

Love,
Janie

Doing fine. Only venturing out when needed. Had an eye doctor appointment and the happy news is I don't need a new prescription!
