All things western and more.
Poor cat. My partner insists on being cremated in case he is not properly dead and buried alive. It would be horrible.
Either way scares me.
oh my goodness
Pretty scary. Kudos to this tenacious kitty and everyone involved in helping him.
Nightmare! What a poor cat! Hugs, Valerie
Oh how awful. I noticed the eye even before I looked at the video, because my first cat Dog had glaucoma and lost an eye toward the end of his life. I feel so sorry for this cat, and I'm glad the humane society have now taken over Bart's care, because it's obvious his owner doesn't deserve him! What an incredible way to to finish out this month. BRAVO!!!
Thanks, Elizabeth. Faux Paw is on glaucoma drops. Anything to do with the eyes is always scary.
Hi, Sandra! This zombie cat scenario unfolded in my vicinity but I didn't know about it. How awful! I would feel terrible if I owned a pet and mistakenly gave it a premature burial. I hope Bart goes on to live a long and happy life in spite of his disfiguring injuries.Thank you, dear Sandra, and have a great weekend!
Hi Shady,The last bit of info I could find, he looks healthy and happy.I'm always afraid of burying an animal alive so I wait 24 hrs even if they've been declared dead.
Poor cat! Hope they did nurse him back to health.
Looks like they did, Alex.
Oh, poor puss! Glad it's being looked after now probably being given lots of love and treats! Congratulations on getting to the end of the challenge!
Thanks, Liz:) Yes, Bart deserves much love and special care.
This story breaks my heart. I hope he made it through the convalescence. I thought Zombie Cat was a great title -- but I had no idea this happened.
Hi Jeanie,The last information I could find, he was doing great.
Indeed. But as far as I could tell, he did just fine.
Ah, poor little puss. Well done for finishing the challenge, Sandra - and thanks for supporting my posts too! :)Susan A Eames fromTravel, Fiction and Photos
Back at ya. Your posts are fascinating. Love them.
Oh what a thing to happen poor cat.Yvonne.Congrats on completing the A to Z.
Horrible. But I trust he is healthy and happy now.
Poor guy. Sure had a will to live indeed.
He's a tough guy. Thank goodness.
Oh no a zombie cat :) Really enjoyed your cats this year. Yay for finishing the A to Z!!
And I enjoyed yours, Sharon. I never knew there were so many intrepid female pilots!
Poor kitty :( I hope he gets the care and love he deserves.Congrats on completing the Challenge! I have loved your cat posts :)
Me too, Elizabeth. Looks like he was well cared for. I just haven't been successful in finding out where he ended up.I've enjoyed your posts too. Thanks for taking part in Your Cats:)
That's horrible! I remember hearing a story about how they used to tie a string around dead people's fingers when they buried them and connect it to a bell. If the person came back to life, they'd ring the bell and people would know to unbury them. I don't know if that's true or not...I did wonder how many people rang those bells! Good thing they embalm people now...and (I hope) have the tech to make sure they're dead before they embalm them!
I believe that is indeed true about the string to a bell.
I remember this story as well. I am glad the cat is doing better and I hope he stays with people who take tender good care of him. Congrats on making it to the end. I loved all the beautiful cats.
I hope he does too, Tam.Thanks and right back at ya.
I'm glad to hear that he's fine now, poor cat, such an ordeal.HugsMaarit
Wasn't that something? He's a survivor.
This cat deserves a medal for never giving up and have the strength to keep going...we could learn from such a tenacious pussy cat. I have to look him up and see more about him and how he is doing. Was he abused by his owner or did the owner just believe he had died? Anyway, A great A to Z challenge and again, sorry about my pics not coming to you. We all need a rest and my Kaspar is right this minute being hissed at by diva Lucy.
He does deserve a meddle. Supposedly he was hit by a car, thought dead, and buried. If you find out anything more let me know, I'm curious about what is going on now with him.Don't worry about the pics.Heading to your place.
Poor kitty! I want to hug him! I hope he is placed in a good home. I don't like there being a custody battle.
I hope everything is settled and he's in a wonderful, forever home. I can't find anything current.
