That works for me:)
A very happy weekend to you.And isn't that a lovely letter?
Indeed it was. Thanks for sharing.
Read the letter - well said.Have a great weekend.
Yes it was. You have a great weekend too.
I can't believe the parent doesn't see the atrocity in his sons behavior.Have a good weekend, I plan on being around the pool a lot.
I can't either. Then again I can't imagine my kids being in that kind of situation. Sounds like a perfect weekend;)
What's scarier? The boy's actions or the fact his father doesn't think they were that bad?
Kinda makes you wonder how much his father's attitudes factored into what happened doesn't it?
Happy Friday to you! Amused you used a graphic of one of Donald Duck's nephews. I think I saw something on Facebook (so you know it must be true) that today is Donald Duck's birthday
Heh heh to fact on FB.Happy Birthday, Donald. And YOU have a great weekend.
Have a great weekend, Sandra -- and birthday greetings to Valerie!
You too, Ms. Jeanie:)
Thank you for the link. That's a very good letter. The victim will suffer for the rest of her life. If Brock Turner were remorseful, and if his father apologized for his son's behavior and condemned it, it would be the first tiny step toward Brock's redemption. I hope he can learn from this, and not just that he shouldn't get drunk at parties. Drunk or sober, he knew what he was doing, and he's old enough to know it was completely wrong. My dog has more of a conscience than Brock Turner.Love,Janie
Well said, Janie.

First a Happy Birthday to a fellow Gemini:) Have a great weekend as well. I read this letter and the man who wrote this couldn't have said it better. What I get from this is how many parents can't see their children for who they are...adults who should take responsibility for their actions. So many parents today do their best to shield their adult kids to the point where these kids still live at home when they are in the 30's. Have no and take no responsibilities yet have a strong sense of entitlement and when they get into serious trouble, the parents do their all to get them out of it. This kid is lucky to only have 6 months. I would have given him years, hard labour. It still shows how the victim is made to be the one in the wrong and almost vilified especially when the one who committed the crime is great in sports. I just don't get it
Hi Birgit, I agree it was a wonderful letter. And you summed it up well. Six months for a crime is barely a slap on the wrist. There are so many issues here: the crime, the father's attitude and the judge's.
enjoy your weekend
Thanks, Shortybear. You too:)
