All things western and more.
I like seedless grapes better too; I don't like having to pick out the seeds every time or accidentally swallowing them.
I don't like having to pick them out either, NW. I hate seeded grapes.
Good ones. Love that broom sign. Have a great week, Hugs, Valerie.
Hey Val,I like the broom sign too. Smiling. You have a great week also.Hugs
So my partner has something to complain about. And for roughage.
I'm right there with your partner:)
Because farmers still grow seeded grapes and they can't sell them to the places that turn grapes into raisins.Or because people haven't learned to read.Happy broomstick October, Sandra. Clever question.
The people that can't read. Yup, that would be the HH and myself:) Heh.
Seeds in grapes don't worry me. I just eat them.
Let me send you mine. Heh.
To give you exercise, picking out the seeds? I really don't know why. I prefer seedless grapes. The ones with seeds are too much work.
They sure are, Elizabeth.
Because they are sneaky like that!
Ha. Good answer:)
Because they can charge more for the seeds
Sounds right to me:)
Some people like them, I don't know why
I don't either, Adam.
That sure is a good question. I have no clue. And Happy 1st day of October to you.
I'm clueless about it too, Jamie:)
The only thing you can used seeded grapes for is wine making and most people making wine would buy direct from a vineyard or grow their own.
Hi Sandra - I'd guess they're a different species with a different taste ... and I'm sure some people are happy with the seeds - extra roughage. Frustrating when one picks up the wrong sort though - cheers Hilary
They have a nice flavor, but I loathe seeds.Cheers:)
C. Because they can :)Love the broom parking sign!!!Hugs xxx
Indeed;)Hugs received and returned.
Good question and Happy October!
Happy October to you, Christine:)
Just so they have a reason to jack up the seedless ones
There ya go:)
so seeded and seedless watermelon aren't putting up a fuss !!??♥♥♥☺☺☺
Good point. We'll throw in seeded watermelon too. Heh.
I like seedless grapes the best and try to be careful when buying them so I do get the right ones … not always easy!Liked the Broom sign :)Happy October to you SandraAll the best Jan
Happy October to you, Jan:)
I don't know the answer, but I bought them by accident once. I hate picking out seeds.Love,Janie
Me too. In fact I hate them so much, I sent the HH back for seedless.
Because the grapes are evil. They love seeing people take their dentures out to get rid of those seeds. I prefer seedless as well. In Canada, it would cost witches $1.05
Ha. You put a mental image in my head about seeds and dentures:)Funny about Canadian inflation for broom parking;)
I think the Grape Fairies get their grapes together from and ship them all out willy nilly around the world not knowing if they have seeds or not.(lol) Perhaps they simply cross their fingers. It's up to us to have tons of fun figuring it all out while we're in the store. Great post that got me thinking, Super Sandra! Hugs...RO
Heh. Grape Fairies. I love it!
I like seedless!!! I have to tell you, my mom's very good friend, turned 95 this year. Still lives on her own. All my life, I have known her to eat apple seeds, because she says it fights cancer. I often think, maybe there is something to this? Maybe there is something in grape seeds too? Big Hugs! Happy October!
