Unfortunately I have not your talent for those above ...

You have lots of flowers.
Yeah, rainy and cool. Really odd for mid-May.

Rain sure does help them bloom, sure getting lots of it too, but beats none.

Sorry to be so negative, but rain and sun means weeds. But clearly the flowers are happy.

Hi, Sandra!

It looks like you're ready to spring into summer up there. The flowers are lovely. We had a strong thunderstorm here last night and it knocked out our power for a time. The frogs were croaking so loudly afterward that it was hard to sleep. :)

Happy Thursday, dear friend Sandra!

Thanks, EC. It seems like Australia is constantly battling drought.

I do too, M-w. We moved in last year and they didn't bloom, so I was very excited that they did this year.

Thanks, Elizabeth:)

Oh, you are in FULL bloom! No roses here yet, though I did see a bud on one of my bushes! Soon, though!

Sandra Cox said...

Indeed, they do:) On my way over now.

Hi Jens, Oh, I don't know about that. My sister says its survival of the fittest in my gardens. Grin.

So pretty! It's finally warmed up here. We had a strange cold snap for a week or so. Very unusual! Usually it's hot here from late April until September!

Sandra Cox said...

It is weird, isn't it?

Sandra Cox said...

You are so right. We really are getting a lot of it, but that will probably change and we'll be wanting more:)

Wish I could argue with you, Andrew. But when you're right, you're right.

Seeing those first buds is always exciting. Can't wait until you're blooming.

Or maybe I should say until your flowers are blooming. You are always blooming:)

Great pics, Sandra. Lots of rain and sunshine in my part of the world - I've been enjoying watching my spring flowers bloom.

Really beautiful! I have to clean up our backyard this weekend! I've done part of it! LOL! The front is finished, but I have to get some new plants for one area. Next week, no rain for us! Your flowers look nice and healthy and happy! Hugs!
