What's Your Favorite Movie Line?
Blurb:
My name is Zoe Tempest. Just let me say, I had no
intention of becoming a vampire hunter. My world revolved
around the trendiest clothes, the boy of the week, shopping, and
texting. My life was as close to perfect as a seventeen year old
can get. I had everything. Then my parents were murdered and
my world came crashing down.
After their funeral, I went to live with my uncle Julian
Kilmer. That’s when everything changed. In a manner more
terrifying than anything I could have imagined.
Tami won the Favorite Cowboy Contest.

Do you Book or Twitter?
Do you Facebook? Or do you twitter? Show of hands please.
I've got a Facebook account and I've recently signed up to Twitter. I'm probably the only person on the continent that isn't a Facebook junkie. I find it confusing. Even though Ms. Anny Cook, erotica writer extraordinaire, has tried to guide me through the rocky shoals of Facebooking, I struggle:).
My family, co-workers, book folks or all melded together. I'm sure there's all kinds of techno stuff you can do to separate them, but I flounder. And I don't send private messages over Facebook because I'm afraid I'll have pushed the wrong button and it will go out to everyone. Games seem to be a huge past time for Facebookers. And that would be fun, but I don't feel like I have the time to become a gamer.
I just recently joined Twitter. Twitter I like. One liners. You can't beat that. Its great for those of us who are time challenged. The only problem..finding something of interest during the day:) Here's my day: I start my morning feeding nine critters, go to work, stop by Starbucks on the way home, feed the critters again, grab something to eat then head for the Mole Hole where I write. Not exactly scintillating. Oh well, I'll think of something.
What about you? Do you prefer Facebook or Twitter? Why? Want to Twitter with me, just join the link on the right. See you in Twitter land.

Excerpt:
Brandon leaned forward, captured a stray curl that had fallen forward on her cheek and wrapped it around his finger, then rubbed his thumb against the silken texture. "I can’t take responsibility for your hound. The boys patched him up and brought him back to the ranch with them but as for your life…"
The timber of his voice dropped to a husky whisper that for some unfathomable reason gave Alexandria goose bumps. Glittering green eyes held her own. Her breath caught in her throat as he drew near.
His finger freed the imprisoned curl and touched her arm moving slowly down it. Brandon laughed softly in satisfaction as he felt the pulse at her wrist quicken.
"There’s an old Indian belief that when you save someone’s life it becomes your own. And as for repaying me," he continued in a silken voice, his face inches from her own, his hand moving to her madly pounding heart. "There are ways. Infinitely pleasurable ways," he murmured before his lips claimed hers.
Alexandria felt that her life, since she had ridden into his camp, had been building toward this one heart-stopping moment.
Not even Cody Morgan’s experienced kiss had the power to move her as this man was so effortlessly doing, drawing her down into a dark vortex of pleasure. A darkness from which there would be no return. For Alexandria knew instinctively if she let Brandon take what he wanted, she would never be the same again. Never again could she call her life her own. She would be bound to him as surely as if he’d chained her to his side, her need of him as great as her need for the very air she breathed. But her senses were reeling and she was powerless to stop him.

At The Movies.....
The Flowers were from my sister-in-law Jules. Thanks, Jules. They're almost as beautiful as you are.
And the winner of the Absentminded Contest is...drumroll please...writer extraordinaire Lynn Crain. Congrats, Lynn. Thanks for playing.
AT THE MOVIES
ROBIN HOOD: Thumbs up. I thought this was a great movie.
Totally different spin that any Robin Hood make, but just as enjoyable and left plenty of room for a sequel. Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchette were outstanding. If you like adventure, strong women and romance, I recommend ROBIN HOOD.
IRON MAN II: Thumbs up. Another great movie.
As always, Robert Downey Jr. delivered. This movie was all sorts of fun.
If you like fantasy, adventure and a hero with issues, I recommend IRON MAN II.
And for all you Twilighters....24 days till ECLIPSE

GROUNDED
Being encased in marble sounds horrific, but I’ve
lived this way so long I don’t really give it much thought.
Oh, sure, it would be wonderful to have a normal life. To
feel sunshine on my skin instead of having it filter
through layers of cold marble or to hike in the mountains
or day trip with friends. But I learned long ago there’s no
point in howling for the moon, it just makes you hoarse.
