I saw this on TV last weekend, it is really impressive. Hugs, Valerie
It sure is. So pleased folks were willing to reach out to this poor guy.
That is lovely. Really, really lovely.
What a lovely story :-)
Hi Annalisa:)Yes, quite amazing.
Ah, that's lovely. All the best Jan
There's good folk out there. Thanks for stopping by, Jan.
That's really impressive. And one hot fire to burn off a shell.
Oh my gosh, yes. That poor tortoise. He definitely went through fire and came out on the other side.
That is great and impressive indeed.
It truly is. People can be amazing.
For sure, CJ:)
Hi, Sandra! That's just wonderful! It always warms my heart to see stories about people helping animals in distress. The people on this team went out of their way to give that tortoise back its life. Now it will probably outlive us all!Happy Tuesday, dear friend Sandra!
I love to see it too, Shady. And it may very well outlive us. I've always wondered what decides animal life expectancy. Parrots and tortoises live a long time, dogs and cats not so much.....
The pain that poor tortoise went through. I'm glad she got the help and what help! This is great and just shows how much people can help. I like to believe that for every 1 person who is cruel, there are 5 who are not.
I'll take that bet and raise it to 10.
Amazing rescue, never have seen anything like this
I hadn't either. I was very impressed.

Wow - First it is amazing the tortoise survived. People really can make a difference when they pull their talents together for the good.
Aw! This is so heartwarming...
Sure is, Heather:)
Marvellous the saving of the creature.
It sure is.
I was incredibly impressed, first, that the tortoise survived and second, the help she got from people who really cared. It's a wonderful story of survival, caring, and HOPE.
It is indeed. The loss of the shell would have had to have been traumatic.
I heard about this, very sweet
Awww, bless the people who helped Freddie and bless Freddie too! I love this! Thanks Sandra!
Those folks were very special. As is Freddie;)
