The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Members post about their doubts and fears, discuss struggles and triumphs, and offer words of encouragement to others who are struggling.
This month I'd like to pass on some information about an author app I recently learned about. Some of you may already be aware of it. There's a Free Facebook Author App out there that you can add to your facebook page. It 's a READ MY BOOK icon that let's folks sign up for your newsletter, tell of your upcoming events, allows you to add your covers and links to your buy pages at Amazon. Pretty cool huh? Here's the link: https://apps.facebook.com/authorapp/.
On the home front:
Love is tough. Especially if you're a mutant.
Moon Watchers .99¢ at Amazon June 1 - 8.
Some people find it odd that I hunt werewolves. What I find unsettling is my attraction to Brandon Knight. Why? I think he's a vampire.
And........
Sunset is now available at Amazon.
On the surface, Gillian Stone has it all: wealth, beauty, and the freedom to come and go as she pleases...at least from sunset till dawn. From dawn till dusk, she's entrapped in several hundred pounds of marble. And if that's not bad enough, her life expectancy is preordained to be short. Unless, she can find a certain genie and reverse the wish-spell.
I started with this cover:
Really, really didn't care for it and ended up with this. What do you think?
Such a lovely cover! I especially love the blue mist swirling out of the lamp. Best of luck with Sunset and all the books you currently have on sale! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather. I like the swirling mist too. And I think the purple lettering worked out well.
DeleteSecond cover is really cool. Congratulations on the new release!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex. it's actually making a reappearance from retirement:)
DeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link to the app.
You're most welcome:)
DeleteNeed to check it out. Your books are inexpensive, making them easily available
ReplyDeleteThanks:)
DeleteI appreciate your interest.
That app sounds like a great idea, but I don't do FB! I must admit that I prefer the first cover where she looks so sad, but the second one is fine, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou called it right. She was pretty sad.
DeleteHugs
thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure:)
DeleteThe first cover was nice, but a little spooky. I love the second one.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Thanks, Colette. Have a great evening.
DeleteSounds great Sandra. I used to belong to Facebook but gave up when I moved. Have considered rejoining.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
I have to admit, I prefer the blogosphere.
DeleteCongrats indeed. The second cover is waay better. Never knew about the app.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pat.
DeleteThe second one for sure. The first makes it look like a contemporary, but the second definitely sets the mood.
ReplyDeleteI think so too, Crystal:)
DeleteThat's a great idea! Very cool. And I agree with those who voted for door number two!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanie;)
DeleteThat is a cool app to use on Facebook. And I love that new cover for Sunset.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cherie. Me too:)
DeleteANOTHER new release? You are a writing machine. And the second cover is much more better.
ReplyDeleteJust recycling, the machine is taking a break:)
