IWSG Wednesday

It's not only the first of the month, but the first Wednesday of the month.  You know what that means.

The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Members post about their  doubts and fears, discuss struggles and triumphs, and offer words of encouragement to others who are struggling. 

This month I'd like to pass on some information  about an author app I recently learned about. Some of you may already be aware of it. I heard my cat cry and went to investigate, afraid something was wrong. She was in the kitchen, staring up at the cabinet her treats are kept in. Really?  When my daughter was young, I heard her confide in a friend that if she cried, she'd  get what she wanted.  Now this sounds like my kids were spoiled.  They really weren't, but they knew how to play me:) Apparently, she let Bella in on the secret.

Baby Bluebirds, Money Monster and a Ninety-nine Center

After all the hoopla over this bird house (see below), both parties decided they didn't want it.  Yup just like humans.

The bluebirds moved into what CJ so aptly described as the Frank Lloyd Wright(Ha.Ha) house. (See below).

Well there's all kinds of activity this week. Both mama and papa are flying in and out with birdie food, so I've got to believe the happy day has arrived, congratulations are in order, and Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird are now proud parents.  I can't wait to see those little heads popping out:)

Grumbles and Sales

Is anyone else out there tired of picking out gift boxes and cookies or is it just me? Captcha is appearing at nearly every blog I visit, but not all require verification. If verification is showing up on mine, please let me know and I'll try to turn it off. Sometimes the simplest things allude me. Or delude me:)
