Monday MishMash

The HH somehow turned off the alarm clock, that normally goes off at 6:00 a.m., on Friday and set it so it went off Saturday. sigh.

~*~
Man with twenty-one mile walking commute is given a new car:
Is this not the coolest story? Both for the fact that this man had such a strong work ethic and the fact that folks came together to make his life better.

Great story. Yeah, you don't see that kind of work ethic often anymore.

I saw this video over the weekend. He totally deserved this car and probably a whole lot more! I can't imagine walking all those miles even in terrible weather.

Sorry to hear that the alarm went off so early on a Saturday morning! Amazing about the man walking so far back and forth to work each day!

It's amazing.

Me too:) It beats the heck out of the 'I walked five miles to school everyday'. grin. Though you don't hear that one too often anymore.

A beautiful story and hopefully it brings people like the wonderful man to the foreground and help many others who have such a strong work ethic
