  3. That was one great and protective mother cat. Good for her. Too bad the screaming child got positively reinforced by getting picked up and hugged.

  4. I agree. Shame on the parents for encouraging that behavior. I don't think she was hurting the kitten, but it and mama were upset and she should've been told to put the kitten down.

  6. Interesting how both babies were crying for their mama. And Mama Cat and Grandpa both came to the rescue of their little ones.

  7. Good for the mama cat indeed. Although the kid should have been corrected far sooner.

    1. It must be tough being an animal mom and the fate of your babies being in the hands of humans. (Literally in this case)

  8. I agree with L. Diane Wolfe, the girl just should have been told to put the kitten down.

  10. Parents bringing up a brat of a child. They should take note of the cat mother who looked after her offspring.

    1. There are animal moms out there that put us to shame.

  11. Glad mama cat knew that brat was no good for the kitty. I would never let a small child hold a baby animal when they are that young and they would be supervised strictly when the kids get older. The mother cat is a Great mother who actually, never harmed the kid

  12. Good for her, some kids can be so cruel! That reminds me of a time a little girl got a hold of one of our kittens which we had to take out of her hands before she'd end up killing it, she squeezed it so hard until the poop started coming out of it.
