She did good. Very good.

Well done to that cat mother, she knows how to protect her offspring! Hugs, Valerie

That was one great and protective mother cat. Good for her. Too bad the screaming child got positively reinforced by getting picked up and hugged.

I agree. Shame on the parents for encouraging that behavior. I don't think she was hurting the kitten, but it and mama were upset and she should've been told to put the kitten down.

Interesting how both babies were crying for their mama. And Mama Cat and Grandpa both came to the rescue of their little ones.

Good for the mama cat indeed. Although the kid should have been corrected far sooner.

I agree with L. Diane Wolfe, the girl just should have been told to put the kitten down.

Glad mama cat knew that brat was no good for the kitty. I would never let a small child hold a baby animal when they are that young and they would be supervised strictly when the kids get older. The mother cat is a Great mother who actually, never harmed the kid

Good for her, some kids can be so cruel! That reminds me of a time a little girl got a hold of one of our kittens which we had to take out of her hands before she'd end up killing it, she squeezed it so hard until the poop started coming out of it.

She did good, didn't she, Jan?

Sandra Cox said...

Both babies appear to be well loved and cared for don't they, CJ?

Sandra Cox said...

It must be tough being an animal mom and the fate of your babies being in the hands of humans. (Literally in this case)

I agree, Jamie.

Good Mom-Cat but I'm not too sure about the parents.

Mom cat did well!!! I am proud of the cat, taking care of her baby! The parents should have told the child to let the kitty go! Great video Sandra! Big Hugs!

Parents bringing up a brat of a child. They should take note of the cat mother who looked after her offspring.
