It's An Age Thing

Are you a Colbert fan? If so and you haven't seen this video, you'll probably appreciate it. If you don't like Colbert, chances are you won't like the video.

So what do you think? Is the candidate's age important to you? Would it keep you from voting for someone you otherwise think would make a good elected official?

I'd generally never vote a person older than 70 because I think your actions and opinions tend to lose freshness of thought after certain age, and I'd also never vote for anyone younger than 30 because you need experience to run any kind of office.
We have parliament elections this Sunday here and we also have bunch of idiots running and probably winning. Powers of evil are currently ruling here.

That was humorous. I particularly liked the comment about Reagan, "But those were man years, and we all know men age gracefully."

(Actually, when Reagan was running, some humorist quipped that he was "a triumph of the embalmer's art . . ."

Age doesn't matter so much to me- overall good health does.

This was a very funny post! Unbelievable! I'm much more concerned with where the candidates stand on equal rights, access to reproductive care and rights, access to affordable health care period, public education, the environment, mental health, and so on. There are plenty of elderly statesmen, and the obsession with Hilary's age is flat out sexism and prejudice!
