It's Monday...Again

Says the woman who doesn't have to set her alarm.

Greetings Blogsters,
To the best of my knowledge I made it through grocery shopping Friday without adding to anyone's cart but ours:)
Saturday night was movie and pizza night. Since last weekend's movie night was intense we went to the opposite end of the spectrum and rented  The Age of Aadaline and Cinderella. I really had problems getting into Adaline. Once Harrison Ford came into it, the plot picked up. It was an interesting premise, but I would have liked to have seen them do more with it.
Cinderella was sweet. It exemplified all the awe of fairy tales.  I could see this film leaving children dazzled. Did you see either film? What's your take?
Oh yeah, and the pizza was good. grin.
Ghost For Sale is released tomorrow.......

it was the other way around for me :) I lurved ADELINE and my dearest Blake Lively, but CINDERELLA kinda left me empty and I though the lead actress ain't pretty enough to be Cinders... they should've put Holly Grainger who played one of her sisters to play Cinderella, she's gorgeous.

Mentioned Ghost For Sale in my post today!
Haven't seen either film.
Actually, you should have fun with putting groceries in other peoples' carts.

That woman in Adaline is pretty...can't remember her name but she was from that teen show I tried to watch but couldn't get into. Gossip Girl? She's mesmerizing to watch, though. Is that the movie where she didn't age?

Haven't seen either one at my sea, the whole fairy tale to life thing is getting old for me.

Good morning, dear Sandra!

The Age of Adaline is a fascinating concept. I'm sure we all wish we could age that gracefully, meaning not aging another day. It's interesting to speculate how that would play out. Coincidentally, over the weekend, Mrs. Shady and I watched a documentary about Walt Disney and enjoyed it very much.

Have a wonderful week, dear friend Sandra!

I really liked Cinderella, but I haven't seen the other yet. We were going to see it in theaters but missed it. My wife really likes Blake Lively

Sounds like a fun evening, I usually have to wait till the films get released for TV, but I do get to see them sooner or later. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I almost rented the Age of Adaline but decided on 3 others. I want to see Cinderella for sure. These 2 films sound better than the ones i rented. The Woman in Black was actually not too bad but they could have done so much more. I couldn't wantch John Wick because there was a brutal scene where his beagle puppy was killed and I am still very upset over this. Hot Pursuit was a hot mess-don't bother

I want to see Cinderella, but I must admit I'm really looking forward to the live action Beauty and the Beast they're making. I like the premise of Age of Adaline a lot, but I haven't seen that movie either.

Thank you so much, EC:)

I thought she fit the part of Cinderella. To me she radiated the 'goodness' of the character.
Adaline: I'm probably the only person in the universe that just didn't warm up to BL in that role.

Thanks, Alex. Appreciate it.
Good point about the carts. Heh heh.

Hope you have a great week too, Shady.

I imagine Cinderella would have been magical on the big screen.

I wanted to see John Wick. But I didn't rent it because of that scene. I bet that was tough on you, Birgit. Sending you a hug.
