That is a tear-jerker, Sandra. It's a shame they can't ask Spike where he would prefer to live the rest of his life. It's a shame the two humans don't live in the same city which would make visitation much easier. Seems likely Spike's fondest and most recent memories would be of living with the woman over the last two years. Now that he has been ripped from her arms, he might experience separation anxiety. I wouldn't want to be the judge who needed to decide this one. I hope they do a follow-up report six months from now to determine if having Spike in his daily life has eased the soldier's PTSD.

Sigh.

That was really tough. She did a wonderful thing letting Spike go back to Jared. But it's tough once you get attached to them.
Loved the video, thanks for sharing, hugs, Valerie

Oh how heartbreaking. I hate to see things like this. I think it ended the way it should, though.
Awww, that was so sad. Hope things work out for everyone.
Tough indeed, as they sure can get us attached to them.
:( Man...I'd be so heartbroken. Definitely tough, but you have to do the right thing.
:(
I'm glad I didn't have to make that decision.
Glad you liked it, Val:)
I was thinking the same thing, Shady. I trust the dog will adjust and be happy, but it had to be tough on everybody.
It's a tough call. I hope all parties will end up happy.
I do too, CJ.
They truly do. They become family members.
I'm not sure I'd be able to.
Thanks for sharing, enjoyed very much.
Yvonne.
I can't view this in Canada and maybe for the best because I could see myself start to cry
Glad you enjoyed it, Yvonne.
