This is a nearly ten minute trailer and you may not have the time to watch it. But if you do, it's both humbling and inspiring. This gentleman has such a verbal gift. He is amazing to listen to. Whether you or for or against national health care, his story is very moving.

This video touches me. What a lovely man. I'm grateful for the Affordable Care Act. I couldn't get insurance without it.
Love,
Janie
I am all in favour of National Health Care. Our current government is trying to tone it down - and I will resist with every fibre of my being.
You are right. That is an inspirational gentleman.
He is so right. Heath care has to be available for all, not just the rich. Have a nice day, hugs, young-at heart-Valerie
yep, everybody should have health care and education for free as much as it is possible. In most cases you get nothing from your country, so that is at least they could do after taking so much money from our taxes
Would be nice if it was available to all and not just the rich sobs
Very moving and so wise
It's not a perfect system, but I do believe in socialistic healthcare.
I agree with National Healthcare...although in England it got to the point where if you wanted decent healthcare, you had to pay for private insurance. My stepdad knew people who went to the hospital with a heart attack and because they were above a certain age, they were given an aspirin and sent home. Seems they don't take the measures to keep you alive that they do in America. It may have changed...he hasn't lived there in a few decades, but his friends who live over there seem to not think very highly of it.
I was horrified about what he said about growing up without medical care as a child.
I agree wholeheartedly, Dez.
I agree with you, Young one:)
Yes it would. It certainly should be .
Wasn't he amazing?
I believe in it, but like anything else the government is involved in, its cumbersome.
it doesn't help when right-wingers get their hands on it when they're in power. Government doesn't work especially when they sabotage social programs on purpose.
I don't know why we don't have it. It should like be anything. There should be a basic system provided by the government. If you want better care then you can go to the private sector. The library doesn't compare to a bookstore, UPS/Fedex is better than the Post Office, and bottled water is better than tap, but it's nice to have those things when you're on a budget.
I am so for health care and this gentleman has said it so eloquently and movingly. I am so thankful for our Canadian Health care system. Is there room for improvement? Of course but I will take this any day over what the States currently has. I remember Christopher Reeve was a supporter for Health care because, even with all his money, he was running out and this was a man who made millions. This was very moving to listen to and what a great speaker and sharp as a tack!
