Besides the amazing architecture, one of the things I loved about London was the parks. You'd be riding the subway or walking amid teaming humanity one minute and in a park the next. The below is a compilation of several parks.

These birds were fat and healthy. Apparently, they don't feel the need to poison their pigeons as we do in the US. |

Wonderful pictures Sandra, am so pleased you enjoyed our London parks they certainly are a joy to behold.
Have a lovely day.
Yvonne.
The parks and gardens are lovely.
Love those happy smiling faces too.
Beautiful photos, London's parks are always worth seeing. Glad you enjoyed your trip! Hugs, Valerie
Wonderful photos...thanks for sharing. :)
The birds all do look happy as can be. I guess London doesn't mind the poop haha Great shots indeed.
The London parks are good. While poisoning of pigeons is not warranted, numbers control is, with trapping and gassing. I like you collections of bird photos.
There are a lot of parks in London and a lot of countryside outside of the city, so plenty of green and wildlife.
Looking at these gives some great relaxation feels that are perfect to get Tuesday started. So glad you were able to see these, and it's even better that you're sharing them with us Super Sandra! Hugs...RO
Gorgeous photos...how lovely the London parks are.
We humans believe we are so superior to all animals that we should be in control of their numbers...wrong!
Hugs ❤❤❤
the parks look so lush. I really love the swans and cygnets. So graceful.
The parks are beautiful. Another reason to want to go to London one day.
Thank you, Yvonne. I love your parks.
Beautiful photos. I especially like that first one.
Thank you, EC:)
Parks, gardens and smiling faces are always a plus aren't they?:)
Cute birds
They sure are, Val.
Thank you.
Hugs received and returned.
Hi Sandra - lovely photos ... might be St James' Park ... but I agree London is full of nooks and crannies and wonderful huge parks for wandering in. Love the photo of your family ... great to see them - congratulations to your daughter - cheers Hilary
I can't wait to go to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Your time in London sounds so good, it has me counting the days!
My pleasure, Lee:)
You know, now that you mentioned, I really didn't see a lot of bird poop, except near the waterways. I think most of the birds congregated in the parks.
Pretty! When I visited London, I was determined to track down Regent's Park since it's featured in the book 101 Dalmations. And I did.
thanx for sharing sandra; the gardens are beautiful. I'm surprised the water fowl let you get that close; unless it's because they are so used to humans ! ☺☺♥♥
The parks were great.
It's amazing for a large city isn't it?
Thanks, Ro:)
Hugs received and returned.
They are beautiful indeed, Jan:)
We do tend to be full of ourselves don't we?
Hugs received and returned.
They were a wonder to watch:)
These gardens are beautiful and I love that first pic with the blue delphinium in the foreground. The one pidgeon must feel out of place since he is brown:) I can’t believe the States poisons these birds...why? Is it a law to quell the population or just people being mean. Don’t they think other birds may eat the bad seeds? The cute signets or is that sygnets?? Are so cute! You must have had a fabulous time
Beautiful photos!
I like those pictures! Parks are good because not only are they nice to walk through and pretty to look at, but you don't have to worry about bears or other wild animals like you do in the woods. :)
They are very used to humans. The birds practically dive bomb you.
Heh. Exactly;)
It was wondrous. Are you planning a trip in the UK, Jeanie?
Thanks, Christine! Glad you enjoyed them:)
I've gotta get some of that blue delphinium. It is truly beautiful.
Some cities, not all, use poison to keep the populations down.
I don't think we saw that one. I bet it's beautiful.
Thanks, Hilary:) I loved the parks;)
I hope you get to Elizabeth. I think you'd really enjoy it.
Is that blue delphinium wondrous, Jamie?
They sure are, Adam;)
Such lovely photos, so pleased you enjoyed your trip.
Fantastic and very special too.
All the best Jan
Love the bird and park photos! Love the smiling faces too!
Are you serious, you poison pigeons in the U.S? I don't think we do that in Canada?
Big Hugs Sandra!
