T Ball

We went to the four year old Grands first T Ball game that my son is coaching. I'd never been to a T Ball game before. OMG. It's right up there with Bob Hope comedy. Several little kids hit the ball then chased it down and gave it to the opposing team or tried to give it to their coach. One child on second base beat the little one on third to home plate. It was great. There's always one parent that takes the game too seriously but overall kids and parents just had fun.
Have you ever been to a T Ball game?

I am not even sure we have T-Ball. But how lovely to see a game which encourages kids to have fun.

Fun, fun, fun, until Daddy takes his T-ball away!

Poetic license allowed. :)

There is always one parent indeed. Can be fun to watch when the kids really just run about.

I've never been to a T-ball game, but it reads like a comedy of errors. I will have to ask a friend who has a young child if he is in T-ball. It will be something worth seeing if so.

A good laugh.

That was funny. Some parents get too serious. At that age, they hardly even know what they're doing.

Great fun! The video had me cheering and laughing!
Some parents need to learn to have fun with their children and enjoy being with them and having fun.
I am happy to have your wonderful book on my blog Sandra. RO did a beautiful write-up on her blog hosting your book.

Hugs

I've never been to a T-ball game, but the running in circles looked a bit like pee-wee soccer when the Eldest gave it a try. :-D

I've never seen a T ball game, but your post certainly made me want to go to one. Great description of the free-for-all quality of this one! Thanks for the good chuckle.

Isn't that the truth, Pat.

They are so cute and funny. I lost count of how many times the T got knocked over.

Hi Sandra ... I've never heard of T ball either ... in some ways it looks like our English rounders - but fun to see - and great the kids were enjoying themselves - cheers Hilary

Heh. Sounds pretty similar:)

Sandra Cox said...

Exactly, Alex. Just let them have fun.

The parent that was taking it too seriously? Indeed.
I think you'd enjoy it, Di:)

It really was:) I think you'd enjoy it:)

The T seems like a good learning tool. I expected the ball to be larger, more like a softball.

Heh. Free for all pretty much sums it up, Elizabeth;)

I bet, Steve:)

Sandra Cox said...

Yes it definitely was a classic. (Smiling:)
It really is a shame when it's the adults misbehaving isn't it?

Never heard of T Ball Sandra but this reminded me of when my youngest son started to play soccer as a child then went on to become a pro.

OMG! I am just seeing this now because I have been so busy and Tuesday I was....stoned from my infusion. Thank you so much and I have never seen a game like this but this was funny to watch. Are these your grandkids?

Sandra Cox said...

Heh. Football is fun too, as long as the coaches (and some of the parents) don't get overzealous.
Thanks for helping me out and for being you.
Hugs received and returned.

Sandra Cox said...

I wouldn't be surprised:)

Sandra Cox said...

Hope you enjoyed your bday. What was your infusion for?
I just pulled the trailer off YouTube. Not our group. They aren't at that level yet. Heh.
