Love your Lenten Rose. Obedient Plants are about as obedient as cats in my experience. Good luck. And is that an acquilegia in the background? I love them.
As I do the duck and his friend.
Good luck to all those eligible to enter the contest.

Love that Lenten rose.

If it is the same plant we call it Winter Rose as well Christmas Rose because of course it does not flower here at Christmas. Aka Helleborus, or something like that.

I forgot. The dog/duck video is brilliant.

Hi Sandra - love the hellebores ... they are gorgeous; it was such fun finding an Obedient Plant when I visited Abkhazi Gardens in Victoria, on Vancouver Island ... amazing to see: I hope it knows its place til the time to flower comes along?! Cheers Hilary

Beautiful flowers, some are blooming here, too, in spite of the cold. Loved the video! Thanks for sharing, hugs, Valerie

Really wild the duck took to the dog like that.

Your Lenten rose is so pretty. Is that an indoor or outdoor plant? I've never heard of the obedient plant so I hope you take pictures when it does blooom. I also enjoyed the duck and dog video. If only humans could learn from animals. Enjoy your day.

My daffodils are trying to come up, too.

I hope your plant pays attention. Nothing in my yard is even thinking about getting out in the air. Nothing in the house, either.

WOW! I entered the contest. I did not win, but that was FUN! I thought it would just enter your name but you instantly know if you won or not! COOL! THANKS! :)

Such a beautiful Lenten Rose! And I hope the Obedient Plant ultimately listens to you, haha.

I enjoy the Lenten Roses because they bloom when the landscape is barren and in need of color.
That's the tab for an aquilegia. So far their response to their living surroundings is, I'd rather die that live in your garden. Sigh.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Christine. They're my favorite winter flower.

Sandra Cox said...

Close. Very close. Hellebores.
Glad you enjoyed the video. They sure seem to enjoy each other, don't they?
Have a great day.

Sandra Cox said...

I hope it does too, Hilary:)

can the rose stay inside? not really sure why I asked other than curiosity, as I can't even have fake inside without the cats bothering.. and every real plant I have is at work; what I'm gonna do with em if I retire is anyone's guess...

happy birthday allison ! ♫♪

Two Christmas Cacti (did not bloom at Christmas) are showing buds! Can't wait to see what happens.

Such a cute video. Would knew?

I am in love with this duck! Something this little duck should have no issues with can’t deal with the water unless his best friend is in with him. Great clip

Sandra Cox said...

Heh. You got that right, Pat!

Sandra Cox said...

It sure is. Love has no barriers.

Sandra Cox said...

It's outdoor. It likes cool to cold weather, wilts in the heat.
The duck and dog are quite the duo aren't they?
You enjoy your day too my calligrapher friend.

Sandra Cox said...

PS In the summer, I hook an umbrella over it to keep it in the shade. Heh.

Sandra Cox said...

You bet:)

In the house? I don't know, you could always try it.
My plants are all on top of the bookcases, out of reach.
