It's Tuesday

Poor FauxPaw had a rough day.  I took her in for her summer cut. She's eighteen and has problems cleaning herself, plus it keeps her cooler. She's blind and deaf and doesn't enjoy getting out of her normal environment and if that wasn't bad enough I dropped her. The carrier lid flew off, so I had to cobble that together. Then when I got home, it fell off, so I had to toss it in with her and carry her in  with the carrier upright. She survived, but it definitely wasn't her favorite outing.

Is anyone else having problems with their font size?  My font is set at normal but I'd call it small. I haven't figured out how to get a better size without going large.

We've received not one but two Trader Joe care packages from our daughter and SIL. So exciting.

Have you ironed out all the kinks in the new blogspot design?  Got or sent any care packages? Have you or one of your critters gotten your summer cut?

Sorry about your cat, must have been upsetting - for you both! I have my font size set to normal but it's larger than yours. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

Poor FauxPaw. I suspect your guilty feelings meant that you had a less than stellar day too.
I have had font issues in the past - and these days have stuck to LARGE. I have reverted to Legacy Blogger too.
No care packages here.

I can relate to FauxPaw. Poor thing. She hopefully will have a better day tomorrow and so will you.

Blogger is going to have to drag me kicking and screaming into the "new" blogger. I'm staying with Legacy until it dies an ugly death. Right now, I'm hoping to get a few posts planned ahead so the death of Legacy will be less painful.

No care packages, but a lovely gift box tonight from my generous friend CJ.

Hi Sandra - FauxPaw will be easier - not a happy journey, but at least she's home.

I gather we don't need to move to the new blogger ... Legacy lives on.

Wonderful to have unexpected care package surprises ... take care - Hilary

PS re font: I type in Word and copy over ... and have had to adjust my word font size ... but it's easy now I've done it. H

Poor kitty! I love that she is still cherished despite the issues.

Font size--thought it was just my eyes. Yes! But I Ctr+ to make it larger and move on. Interesting you mention it.

It sounds like no one's favorite visit to the vet. I still haven't tried new blogger but will work with it this week. We'll see...

Your poor cat. The new blogger design...I find it slow making posts.

Yes:(
I have no idea what's going on with the font. Sigh.
Hugs received and returned.

Poor Faux Pas. The box was never Ink's favorite spot. Your font size looks fine on my computer. I've had issues with adding photos as it seems the default is X-large instead of medium. There are a lot of extra steps just to edit a post, too. The Young One and I played hairdresser last month and gave each other haircuts. I'll be asking her to cut my hair again. For goodies, Himself just put an order in from Five Guys before the tropical storm arrives. Enjoy your Trader Joe's goodies. Take care.

Welcome back, EC!
Yes to Faux and yes to the guilt.
Hmm. I may have to revert to Legacy.
The care packages were lovely surprises. If anyone deserves one it is certainly you.
Hugs

Good idea on sticking with Legacy.
Glad you got a gift box. CJ's the best isn't she?

Yes:(

Oh my goodness, you need a new carrier.

PoorFauxPaw!I've had carrier issues before and replaced them with soft carriers, but I worry about the zipper giving out. Im sure it was hard on both of you and both glad to get home. I love care packages, I consider what I order online from Costco my new care package, since we don't want to travel to go now:)

I'm so sorry about FauxPaw and I'm sure everyone is glad to have survived the madness. Such a beautiful baby. I've always used large on mine so I hopefully see my many errors a little easier.(lol) Hugs, RO

FauxPaw....very funny. I am sure if you explain carefully, you will not be charged with animal abuse. I'm still using the old Blogger. Your font size seems ok. It's not large but readable.

Oh your poor pussy cat...and poor you! You must have felt horrible and frustrated with that carrier. Your cat is loved and it shows in how long she is living despite her physical issues. Our animals all have short hair so we are good but our poor Wallace is full of bumps and lumps. He had 2 small cysts removed, one above his left eye and the other right near his right eye which would have caused much grief. He is on arthritis meds, antibiotics, eye cream...he is our $1,000 summer doggie. We have to bring in our one cat who is 14 and is so skinny but eats and eats...I believe it is her thyroid. More mulah but this is what one does when you love your animals.

Thanks, Jacqui. I appreciate that.
Also thanks for the tip. I'll definitely try that. You rock:)

Sandra Cox said...

Definitely wasn't our most favorite visit.
Let us know how the new blogger works out for you.

Sandra Cox said...

Yes:(
Somethings I like about the new blogger designs, somethings frustrate me.

Sandra Cox said...

I have problems with the pictures if I try to put them anywhere except the center.
Good job on you and the Young One playing hairdresser for each other.
The HH likes Five Guys too. I've been in one once and will never forget sliding across the floor on the grease. That's probably not the norm:)
Stay safe. Stay healthy.

Sandra Cox said...

Yes, I do:)

Sandra Cox said...

The HH wants to get a soft one with a shoulder strap. I concur. See your point about the zipper though.
Costco care packages. I like it!
:)

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, she seems to be doing fine. Whew.
Hmm. Large is a good idea.
Hugs received and returned.

Sandra Cox said...

Faux sends her thanks. Like most females, she is much perkier after her 'new do':)

Sandra Cox said...

Ha.
Glad you didn't have to strain your eyes reading the font:)

Sandra Cox said...

Yes. Sigh. I'm happy to say, she's doing fine.

Sandra Cox said...

I hear ya. I feel like I have my own pharmacy:)
Hope your critters get better and that you are feeling well.

Poor kitty. Really went through the ringer.

Sandra Cox said...

She is doing great. Thanks for your concern, Jan.

Sandra Cox said...

She did. Sigh. She's perking right along, in a senior sort of way:)
