It's Tuesday

Callie is making Frank look like an angel. Hard to believe I know, but there it is. She runs flat out--All. The. Time. The HH and I were playing board games the other night. Our first game was Memory. I had just got a handle on where some of the cards were that I hoped to pounce on before the brain cell holding the information dissipated, when Callie leaped on the table and ran straight through the cards scattering them.

Then we switched to Yahtzee and she took off with one of the dice and rolled/dropped a five. Luckily I came back from that one, but went belly up on Memory. Not that I claim to have any.

AND...I was getting stressed out by political news so I switched channels and got Sleepy Hollow, flipped the channel and got The Exorcist, neither guaranteed to lower my stress level. Finally, found Jumanji. Whew.

AND The eternal garden pics.

Baby Mums

Ha.

It's still blooming....

Got flowers? Got crazy critters?

Loving your garden. Got flowers. Got a very crazy critter. A very, very crazy critter.
No memory though. And it is years since I have played yahtzee. We used to play it with household chores as the stake.

Your garden looks good. Glad your monster kitties keep you on your toes! Hugs, Valerie

Iris blooming? In pre internet preoccupation days we used to sit in our then house courtyard on pleasant summer evenings and play Yahtzee and Backgammon.

She's entertaining! Look at it that way.

Sweet Callie. She just wanted to play, too. Your garden is beautiful and the iris are jus gorgeous. Not many flowers here except mums and some goldenrod and Heath asters.

I haven't played Yahtzee in years. I loved hearing how the cat tried to play too. My cat wouldn't do that at all !

You've got beautiful flowers! No memory here either, sigh.
Hmm, playing for household chores...I like it!

Oh your pussy cat sounds like our Kaspar who would do the same thing. I love games but my hubby, not so much.love your garden....always. I watched the Debacle last week but I had to leave because IT was such a bully and so nasty, I was yelling at the tv and so angry. I knew that I had to go so I went upstairs, turned on some classical music and made a card. The Shining was on last night...it is the month for spooky stories.

Yup my toes are nothing but nubs. Heh.

Hi Sandra - they do like to be the centre of the attention don't they ... still I guess forgivable with Callie ... not for my little brother - who'd whack his arm across anything he wasn't winning ... I'm sure better now!! Playing for housework sounds a good idea as too switching off the tv ... but gardening is great - love the flowers ... take care - Hilary

In the age of streaming, I never have to worry much about unwanted political stuff

I always love game night, Yahtzee a favorite, and we get cat interference too. I'm with you on political stress and also saw The Exorist was on. That movie terrified me back in the day. I ended up watching Dishes monthly theme a haunted house:) Beautiful flowers, we still have some roses blooming.

Neither of ours have disrupted a game like that, but Spunky and Rocko did have a cat fight on a really difficult puzzle over halfway through. (I gave up at that point - Craig kept at it and finally got it back together.)

Classical music and card making sounds serene.

I can empathize with your brother:)
Glad you enjoy the flowers:)

I'm a CNN, MSNBC, local news junky. But I sometimes hit my saturation point.

Knowing my limitations, I've never seen The Exorcist:)

Ack. That would be painful.

How are your critters doing?

hahaha well now you have two to keep you on your toes. They all get along yet?

SO stressed out about politics. At least Callie can make you laugh with her antics -- unless they just drive you too crazy. I adore board games but Lizzie isn't terribly interested.

I remember having a cat several years ago who pilfered jewelry that wasn't put away in the jewelry box!(lol) I don't know how she picked up the skill, but I sure spent a lot of time trying to find rings that had been hidden around the house. Sending lots of hugs your way.
