It's Tuesday

 Greetings Blogger Buds,

Was Father's Day a good one? We went into the mountains and the HH heard from the kids so a thumbs up here.

Today and yesterday were gorgeous weather wise but the heat is on the way back.  Record breaking heat in some areas, flooding in others. Scary stuff.

I'm still staining the fence.....

My sister sent me this photo of their newest residents in her flower pot. They're hard to make out but there are two baby morning doves nesting in it.

Pretty quiet here. What's happening on your end?

Love those nestlings. Quiet here too. Stay cool, stay safe.

Humans do create perfect nesting places at times.

Hi Sandra - glad you had a good time for Father's Day. It was quiet here - preparing for our tennis season in the town. Lovely to have the doves in residence - very summery! Cheers Hilary

Speaking of ends....I saw the Dr and will have my colonoscopy on July 15th. The day before is the hell one. So...I hope all will be good. The weekend was beautiful here and the weather...perfect. We had a nice time and I thought of my dad who has been gone for so long but has my heart.
I live the doves and hope no cats get to them live the rabbit.

How lucky to have the nest so close. Love the bunny. I have to get painting too on the outside of the house. Needs lots of touching up. Happy birthday, Christine!

EC, They are pretty cute. The weather has been hot but not humid so we be okay.
You take special care.
Hi Andrew, We do, don't we?

Good word, Christine. Happy Birthday.

Hils, Enjoy the tennis season and solstice.

FSG, Thanks but you can keep the heat. Ha.

Birgit, I was unable to comment at your blog, but I'll try again later.

Denise, Ack. Painting the house, doesn't sound any better than staining the fence. My condolences. xoxox

Awww. Those morning doves are so adorable in the flower pot. I'm glad you had a wonderful weekend, Sandra, and that the hubby got some attention. And summer has finally arrived here. On the first day of summer. Who would've thought?

Just Rick and me, but good talks with the boys, and that was worth it all!

No Father's Day celebration here, but I DID celebrate Juneteenth.

Happy belated birthday to my friend Christine who knows how to COOK so many great things/veggies.

Diana, Summer arriving on the first day of summer? That is unusual.
Have a great writing week;)

That's grand, Jeanie.

Good on you for celebrating Juneteenth, Elizabeth.

Father's Day here in Australia is in September. The only Father's Day I celebrated was when I was married...celebrated my wonderful, now late father-in-law. He was a lovely man. :)

Those doves look cute! It got really hot around here too; I tried to go for a walk in the park and I felt like I was going to pass out because it was in the nineties.
