It's Ketch-Up Day

Wishing you a day filled with happiness and chocolate, Blogger Buds.

We got a Valentine from our great nephew and niece. Isn't it the sweetest?

This balloon was left from the grands' birthday where it had made a beeline for the ceiling. Instead of getting out the ladder we just waited for it to run out of gas. It lasted till just recently. On the last day of it's life, it totally freaked me out.I kept finding it in different rooms of the house. Finally, when it hit the living room, the HH ended it.RIP little balloon.

Good bud, D.L. Finn got me this for Christmas. Actually she and her HH made it.  Isn't it beautiful? Why am I just now blogging about it? I thought maybe it had been damaged in shipping because I couldn't get it to light up after turning on the on-off switch.  The only thing damaged was my brain:) I finally realized, that I hadn't pulled the tab off the battery.😀

My son and grand went to a father and daughter dance over the weekend.

And last but not least, let's hope my readers are more excited about my stories than Frank is. 😄

It is funny to observe helium balloons deflate over a few days. We've had some that have come down quickly and some take much longer.

No, no. Frank has just finished your book and needs a decent rest to recover from the excitement.

Hi Sandra - what fun - love the battery tale - just glad it wasn't ketchup keeping it from working! Happy VD - enjoy yourselves ... cheers Hilary

Sounds like you found a good solution for the balloon. The picture of your son and granddaughter going to the dance is sweet.

Happy Valentine's Day! Yup, you gotta free the battery so it will work. Cool they made it.

Happy Valentine's Day to you. 💝 The balloon wouldn't have freaked me out unless it was red. Y'know, we all float down here. 🤡 Sweet Valentine from the Littles. Now, that's what I call an awesome fairy light. Proud dad and daughter and Frank looks so cute reading your book by osmosis.

Oh Frank!

We have a regular balloon bouncing around the house that's been here for 14 months now.

What a perfect post, Sandra, and the sleeping cat--it's because s/he finished the book and is now having happy dreams about the next one. At least, that's what happened with me.

I love the light jar. I made some of those one year.
The candy hearts with strawberries in your head look tempting!

I helped host a father daughter dance and a mother son dance this weekend. I was pooped on Monday.

Frank is reading via osmosis, not boredom.

I am also playing Ketchup. Laughed at the balloon chasing you, but think Frank was just resting after finishing your book. Sweet father/daughter photo.
