Ketch-up Day

Elbows Up It's Canada Day

Per usual, not too much newsworthy here. We lost a colleague, which was distressing. They had her visitation and celebration of life at the community college, which I thought that was a lovely idea.

The weather has dropped from flirting with 100 to the 80s, so that goes on the plus side of the ledger. How's Mother Nature treating your area and have you done anything fun and exciting?

We got some sun bunnies here:)

 AND

A guardian for the pet cemetery.

Enjoy the rest of your week, my friends.

We just returned from the wedding of our oldest grandson in Lanark, Ontario. Hectic, fun, tiring. We are back home now and happy to de-people for a couple of days!

Hi Sandra - I did love my time out there ... and would have liked to have travelled around a bit more - but I did learn about the west coast and its development ... interesting - cheers Hilary. Happy Canada Day - indeed.

It's Canada Day and Elbows Up! I'm very proud to be a Canadian and have my friends from all over including my American friends. I love your sun bunnies and the guardian Hubby wasn't feeling well on Saturday, so he was unable to go with friends to a winery. We get together for Christmas and have been doing for 35 yrs, I think. It's the 2 brothers Peter and Ron, my Ex, and myself and hubby. There were 2 others but they no longer associate much with us which is fine by me. Oops! I digress....Peter had a certificate for a wine tasting with chocolate, for 6 people. We tasted 3 wines- 2 red and an ice wine. We had milk chocolate with the pinot Grigio chocolate covered cherries with the Franc wine and a white chocolate with the ice wine. When you taste the wine then have a chocolate and then taste the wine again, it does change the taste!. For me, it took the snap out of the wine and made it more mellow. Anyways, it was a lot of fun

So sorry, Sandra.

With this heat, surprised they would want to bake in the sun.

And DLP will be at Greenville Comic Con again this year!
