Not a coffee drinker, so this meant little to me. But since we have one at work, so now I hope everyone knows to clean it.

Christine, Glad you think so:)

I drink mostly tea, but do have refills of minimum water enough for one or two cups.

I can believe that because the coffee maker at my work had gotten like that too. We take for granted that it needs to be cleaned

I've never heard poplars called popple trees. Kinda cute.

That was one word I actually knew! The coffee maker isn't in my wheelhouse!

I feel like many people’s brains popped through their ears today. My hubby routinely cleans his coffee maker. I don’t drink coffee or tea unless it’s herbal.

Now I have used the word “popple” but never in connection with a tree. For me it signifies the sound of gurgling, tinkling, sonorous, babbling, meandering, musical, rushing, gushing, burbling water, perhaps over rocks in a sylvan glade where nature rules unchallenged and where meditation overcomes one’s senses. Not like the poppling of the water slushing through the coffee pot reservoir which I clean every damn day, under pain of getting “the look” from Miriam. That’s enough to spur anyone to action!
