I can't think of a better explanation for catfishing.
Yes, I knew that about Holland. False gods, and all that.

I resent them bringing me to court in shackles. All I did was help to relieve a rich old widow of some of her money and they call it catfishing. She had more money than the Dutch have tulips, and hoarded it more than tulips back in the 1600s. I was just doing a public service by releasing some of that money into circulation. Now it looks like I’ll be going to prison. Wonder if I’ll have a computer in there?

Hi Sandra - yes to both ... but I do like David's comment - so true to today ... we live in a challenging world, to put it mildly. I hope David does have a computer in prison ... were they invented then though? Cheers Hilary

Hello! Hope you are well. I have seen many clients who are in debt due to cat fishing. Some, mainly men, get a "mail order bride" usually from the Philippines, China, USSR, or the Caribbean Islands they get the man to spend on them and get their citizenship and then they are gone the women meet men when in the Dominican or Cuba, get woo'd and then the men take off leaving her deep in debt
