That makes perfect sense to me. What we are getting from Canada right now.

I had NO idea there was such an animal as a coywolf. I always learn something new when I visit you, Sandra.

Hi Sandra - thankfully no smoke haze here. However I'd have said you were making up the coywolf ... but see you're not ... interesting hybrid animal name. Cheers Hilary

Cross? Meaning, well, we can guess. The same has happened here with dingoes, that aren't dogs, and wild dogs.

Never knew about the coywolf.

The coywolf moved stealthily through the smaze, its prey trembling beneath a thorn bush. One false move and it would be over. Such is the way of the wild.

I did not know that. I would probably say it's smoky and hazy since I've never heard of smaze, but now that you've taught me something new, maybe I'd say smaze.

Love,
Janie

Excellent, David. Do you ever go to the truewanderings site? True wrote a poem in honor of Jane that you would enjoy.

It is a fun word, isn't it, Denise? I thought, it was an interesting mix too and makes sense, doesn't it? xo

Elizabeth, Good point:)
I hadn't heard of a coywolf either, till I did some reading up on it. Almost sounds like an oxymoron, doesn't it?;)

Hi Hils, Yay for no smoke haze and good use of a substitute for smaze. It is an interesting hybrid name, especially for a wild animal.

Andrew, Exactly.

They were both new to me too, Jeanie:)
