How are you? Are you having torrential storms or, like us, in an extreme drought? We had a little rain Saturday and the birds were literally dancing in the street.

More Eternal Garden pics
The baby Robin has already flown the nest. I saw a Robin yesterday carrying building materials. I don't know if it was Mom or Dad or a different Robin. If it was Mom, that bird needs a vacation.
Little black (green) berries.
The squirrel must have got interrupted burying his nuts since he left a couple behind and an unfilled hole.
Not the usual visitor to the bird bath.
And last but not least, a gift from the HH.

Another Poem for the April Challenge from the HH. The prompt: Dog-eared.
Dog Ears
Dogs come with all manner of ears
Long and floppy
Short and erect
Ones that tip
My dog’s ears are
The short tippy kind
Usually forward and tipped
But sometimes flopped back
She can also extend them sideways
Looking like Dumbo about to take off
She can also do one flap down
Sometimes the right, sometimes the left
I am guessing there is
Some meaning to that
One thing is certain
She hears what she wants to
Kind of like people
That's it for now, Blogger Buds.

You get to hang out with a lot of adorable animals. Each one is a treasure. It's dry as can be here, but Monday was cooler and it felt good.
Love,
Janie
Your garden is very alive. It's not great to be lacking in rain. We know the feeling well here.
It certainly irritates me when I get interrupted burying my nuts! Did I just say that? I think I did!
We're getting a fair amount of rain too. My tulips and daffodils have come up, but it's a bit cold to plant my annuals. I love all your flower pictures.
Weather in my area has been weird! Often getting to muggy. Very tiring.
Janie, You guys could use the rain too, couldn't you? We're getting a bit of rain today. Thank goodness.Glad Monday was cooler. Yeah, the critters are a hoot.
I absolutely love all your photos, Sandra. Thank you so much for sharing.
Lovely photos
You do for sure, Andrew. The droughts and the fires. It's ghastly, isn't it?
Heh.
Tulips and daffies sound lovely, Natalie. Spring and promise:)
What annuals do you plant? Glad you enjoy the flower pics:)
Lovely photographs and I enjoyed the poem.
All the best Jan
Jamie, The weather has been weird indeed.
I'm so glad you enjoyed them, Linda:)
Thanks, Christine:)
I'm glad, Jan:)
We've been on the torrential rain side and boy, is everything lush and green. Kind of cold-ish, but green. The dog poem is darling and so reminds me of the late, great Jack! And of course the cats and flowers are smashing!
Ohhhh your pup is just so cute! Your kitties are also very sweet. I love all your photos, your garden is lush despite no rain. We have had rain every day which is why my pain is bad. I love the gift you go from HH…it is cheerful and so pretty.
