Bloviate is a great word. I tend to use pontificate or I use expound in a sarcastic way. One of my sisters was a know it all so I would say she expounded on her theories about whatever her topic of the moment was. That's pretty amazing about clouds, but I guess all that moisture has weight.

If you think about it, a cloud is full of water, so I am not too surprised about its weight really.
Bloviate has a special meaning in your country today since the bloviator-in-chief occupies the White House. It is not strictly true that bloviation is comprised of drivel but given your national mouthpiece it will soon assume that meaning. He’ll probably claim he made those clouds heavy - heavy like no one has ever seen - they said it couldn’t be done - everyone is talking about them. Bigly.
