So...Comic Con was packed. There was probably half a dozen folks that wore Covid masks, I wasn't one of them. Yes, I caught the big CO and it wasn't Cold. As you can see, Diane was smarter than I was and came through the Con fine. This was originally a picture of the two of us she sent me, but since I looked a hundred years old, which is pretty close to accurate, I cut myself out;)
So far, my symptoms are mild. Thank goodness I had my shots and boosters.
Remember mood rings? They were selling them at the con. Had to have one;)
How about some more rocks? Wink. Wink.

If you're in the vicinity, I'm giving a brief overview of Horses of the American West at Cowboy Kisses.
Did you know, that Ian Fleming wanted an unassuming name for his main character in Casino Royal? Mr.Fleming was a birder and one of his favorite books was Birds of West Indies by James Bond. He decided the author's name fit the bill nicely.
Greetings Blogger Buds,
How was your weekend and Monday? Our weekend was good. We took the kids to Comic Con, which was a fun experience. The lovely and talented Diane Wolfe of Dancing Lemurs Publishing had a booth set up there and we got to chat for a few minutes. It's the first time I've seen Diane in a few years. Drat on me for not getting a picture of her and the booth. Both looked great. I did get pics of the kids with the Comic Con characters, of course 😀 The grand girl entered the costume contest as you can see in the last photo. There were over eighty costume entrants and some amazing costumes.
