Hi, Sandra!

That's just wonderful! It always warms my heart to see stories about people helping animals in distress. The people on this team went out of their way to give that tortoise back its life. Now it will probably outlive us all!

Happy Tuesday, dear friend Sandra!

The pain that poor tortoise went through. I'm glad she got the help and what help! This is great and just shows how much people can help. I like to believe that for every 1 person who is cruel, there are 5 who are not.

It sure is. So pleased folks were willing to reach out to this poor guy.

Thanks for stopping by, Jan.

Oh my gosh, yes. That poor tortoise. He definitely went through fire and came out on the other side.

I'll take that bet and raise it to 10.

Sandra Cox said...

It truly is. People can be amazing.

Sandra Cox said...

For sure, CJ:)

I love to see it too, Shady. And it may very well outlive us. I've always wondered what decides animal life expectancy. Parrots and tortoises live a long time, dogs and cats not so much.....

I hadn't either. I was very impressed.

I was incredibly impressed, first, that the tortoise survived and second, the help she got from people who really cared. It's a wonderful story of survival, caring, and HOPE.

It is indeed. The loss of the shell would have had to have been traumatic.
