Movies.Movies.Movies.

We've been getting caught up on movies. We saw a couple at the theater and a couple on the kid's wall:)  Here's what we've seen:

Murder On The Orient Express is chock full of stars and panorama and a mysterious storyline. We enjoyed it...You've got to love the mustache:)

Thor came perilously close to being over the top for us. But it's Thor/Chris Hemsworth so how can you not like it? Right?

The LEGO Batman Movie.  Cute, but I just couldn't reconcile the sexy Batman voice with the short stubby legs.

I very much enjoyed War For The Planet of The Apes. It had a deep, emotional draw.

Wow - in one weekend you saw more movies than I have seen this year.

You sure saw a lot of films. I think the first one would have been something for me. Hugs, Valerie

Movie fest! Only seen the first one, which I quite liked and wrote about afterwards. The latter three are not for me.

I've not seen any of these, I guess because they are so new. I really have no interest in any of them, because I read the Orient Express book years ago and know the ending (at least if the movie follows the book). You must really LOVE movies, dear.

Yay Super Sandra! I'm thrilled that you and the family had time to relax this weekend with such great movies. Yet another thing we have in common. There are some days when I can grab my cheeseburger and Oolong Tea and just kick back to binge. This weekend it was 2 Hallmark Christmas movies and one western, Called Godless on Netflix. I'm looking forward to checking out Orient Express, too! Happy Monday! p.s. - 55 degree high out this way in NC today. Hugs...RO

Not into the Lego movies but the other three were excellent.

i haven't seen Thor yet. Maybe this afternoon if it's still at the theater. The Lego Batman was hilarious. Andy Sirkus as Caesar is amazing in the Planet of the Ape movies. Might skip Murder as I saw the movie back in the 1970s with Richard Widmark.

I so want to see Murder On The Orient Express but someone told my hubby it's rubbish and now he doesn't want to go and see it. I guess I will have to wait until it is on Sky or DVD. I will try telling him you enjoyed it and see if that might change his mind.

I missed Thor in theaters, but I will see Last Jedi soon

Hi Rockin Ro:)
Hallmark movies are fun, aren't they? How did you like Godless? I've seen that advertised. The scenery alone is worth a look see of Orient:)
55? Woo Hoo!

I can't imagine a more diverse collection of movies, Sandra! You made the rounds. I haven't seen War Planet of the Apes, but it's on a list somewhere. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Great three indeed. The lego batman movie was the one I found meh at best.

I have not seen any but the last one and Andy Serkis is great in his role as Caesar. I love the original Murder on the Orient Express so will need to see that one along with Thor which i figure is one not to take too seriously. I think I will skip the Lego movie.

Hope you enjoy it when you get around to watching it, Jamie.

Agreed:)

If you go see Thor let me know what you think of it.
Andy Sirkus sure was amazing in the Planet of the Ape movies.
I enjoyed this version of OE. The actors were great and the scenery was amazing.
Have a great week.

It wasn't a cliffhanger but the tension builds throughout the movie. It's got an amazing cast of stars and the scenery is breathtaking. Good luck.

Andy Serkis did do a wonderful job didn't he, Birgit?
Let me know what you think of Orient and Thor. You've got the right attitude for the Thor movie. Grin.

Those kitties just won't let you leave the house. They're afraid you might not be there when it's dinner time.

Hi Sandra - I didn't get to see Murder on the Orient Express before I left the UK - but will definitely see it sometime ... I saw the earlier one (belatedly) when I went to South Africa in 1978 - so am usually behind the curve - cheers Hilary

I am dying to get to the movies. So many I want to see but especially Orient Express and the one about Charles Dickens. Not enough hours in the day!

We don't go to the cinema - just wait for the DVD's to come available.

All the best Jan
